The Department of State Growth may contact you to obtain additional information regarding your application and may utilise information available to it in the normal course of business to assist in informing the assessment of your application.

* A PIC is a unique eight-character alphanumeric code allocated by the Department of Natural Resources and Environment
(NRE). All properties that run livestock must be registered with NRE and have a PIC allocated to buy, sell, and move
livestock.
**For the purposes of this grant program, an eligible Primary Producer refers to the carrying on of a business of primary
production consistent with Taxation Ruling TR97/11 available on the Australian Taxation Office website.
#Livestock product sales should be derived from livestock owned by the applicant.
##This criterion will be verified against accountant prepared financial statements or tax returns for the year ending
30 June 2023. If 2023 financials have not been finalised with your accountant, management accounts from Xero, MYOB or
equivalent should be provided. If the size of your livestock primary production business has only just reached these
thresholds this financial year, year to date management accounts from Xero, MYOB or equivalent should be provided.

Eligibility Note: Third party submissions will be assessed as ineligible unless the applicant has provided the third party with written permission to do so on their behalf, and this permission is submitted as evidence with the application.
